As of mid July I will be receiving a lot of visitors to coo over the new Little One and looking at my rather aged collection of PJs it is time to get the wardrobe sorted.  For super comfy and chic PJs I love these by Hush.  I love the lemon stripe bottoms (above), the Floral print ones and Antique Floral Pyjama Trousers (below).  They also make great gifts for mummies-to-be.  Now if only I could also wake up looking like her…

Last summer I went to an amazing wedding in Cape Cod and saw lots of dapper gentleman sporting embroidered chinos and shorts.  Imagine my delight when I spotted these mini me versions at good old Marks and Spencer.  Pure cotton and with adjustable waists, Little A loves tracing the boats, birds and anchors.  Loved them so much I bought all three colourways!

This weekend is one of my best friends’s wedding and as I am over 6 months pregnant and trying my best not to imitate a beached whale I have decided that a pair of killer heels is required.  Having just jetted back from a rather indulgent holiday (review coming soon) my Anya Hindmarch purse is feeling the pinch so I decided to look in the wardrobe to muster a pair.  There languishing rather forlornly at the very back were my wedding shoes.  Ivory, peep-toe Louboutins bearing all the hallmarks of a fabulous wedding day, grass stained and muddy, they have remained in their box for the last 5 years.  Too dirtied to wear and with too many memories to part with, they have endured a rather sheltered life harking back to one day’s wear…that was until I decided to send them to a fabulous lady new to my address book.  Recommended by the Louboutin Mayfair store, you simply send your shoes off to ‘Bobbi’ and she returns them freshly dyed and with a new lease of life.  I got mine dyed black and they look as good as new.

Ooh if I had a girl.  Special mention goes to this gorgeous Orange Chive Liberty print quilted jacket perfect to step into Spring.

A new childrenswear label I am loving at the moment is the fantastic Their Nibs London. Celebrating their 10^th Anniversary this year, their new catalogue is crammed full of gorgeous summer frocks for girls and Little A is a huge fan of their super soft PJs.

Last weekend I had one of my best friends’s hen do and expecting a night on the tiles I was having more than a few wardrobe issues with how best to dress a 5 month bump.  Help was at hand via Isabella Oliver’s fab new Spring/Summer collection.  I bought this dress to see me through a few occasions leading up to the big day and not only is it a pretty print but it is super comfy too.  Rather hoping it might last post pregnancy too.

I teamed the Vivien Print Maternity T Shirt Dress (above) with an old faithful Zara black blazer, Isabella Oliver maternity tights and these Narelle black boots from Jones the Bootmaker.

For the hen itself we spent a blissfully nostalgic nineties night out watching Bodyguard the Musical on the Friday.  Party pants knicker making class during Saturday afternoon, before a private room dinner at Kensington Place and then onto kitsch club Bodo’s Schloss for some retro Alpine induced merriment.
